Create an Online Calendar for Your Church

Welcome to the Church Secretary Today Online Church Calendar Program. This program enables your church to create multiple church calendars that can be maintained and viewed on the Internet. Follow the steps below to get started.

1. Print a Copy of the Instructions

Make sure you begin by printing a copy of the instructions. They are only a few pages long and it is vital that you understand the significance of selecting a username and password before you set up your calendar account in step 2 below.

2. Create a Church Calendar Account

Click on this link to review the instructions on setting up your account. If you desire, you can set up more than one account.

3. Login as an Administrator

Administrators can make changes to the calendars by adding or deleting events.  To access your calendars as an administrator, you must enter both the calendar username and password that were selected when the account was initially set up. You can have as many administrators as you desire for your calendars, but they should only be people that have the authority to make changes to your online calendars.

4. Login as a Viewer

You will probably want church members to be able to view your church calendar online, but not be able to make changes on it. They should login as a "viewer."Viewers cannot change the calendar, but have full access to all calendars on the account. For viewers to access your calendars, they must enter the username you have selected for your calendar account.

5. How to Create a Direct Link from Your Church Website to Your Church Calendar

You can create a link from your church web site that will connect viewers directly to your calendars, and without the need to enter the username. For more information on how to do this, read Section 2.4 in the Instruction Manual.

6. How to Update Your Calendar Account Information

Click here to change your calendar account username or password, or to update your address and mailing information.
